How to adjust youtube videos to start at a certain time

Have you ever been in a situation where you want to send a youtube link to a friend and tell him to start watching at a certain time and not from the beginning?
Have you ever wondered whether or not there is a shortcut for such a trick?
Well, actually there is not just one but two !

At the end of the link, just add (#t=?m?s) without the braces and replace ? with the exact minute and second you want, e.g.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uy0HNWto0UY#t=4m21s

or just use the form (#at=?) without the braces and replace ? with the exact number of seconds at which you want your friend to start watching
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uy0HNWto0UY#at=410

Enjoy :)

How to reset Firefox default address bar search

Firefox, like many other web browsers, has this nice feature that allows you to search upon entering a string in the address bar and hitting enter.
However, sometimes you download an add-on that changes the default search engine.like facemoods or Messenger Plus!
To restore the default search, do the following:
  • Open Firefox, and enter the following in the address bar, about:config
  • In the page search for (browser.startup.homepage) and right-click it and choose reset
  • search for (keyword.URL) right-click, then choose reset
and Enjoy!

How to change the default search engine domain in Google Chrome

I had this problem with Google Chrome. It uses the local domain google.com.eg, when I type a search query in the address bar instead of the desired google.com.
I tried to change that in the options but had no success.
So, here is how to do this in Windows 7
  • Close Chrome
  • Go to C:\ Users\(username)\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data
  • Open the "Local State" file in Notepad or any text editor
  • search for google.xx, where the .xx is the local domain (You will find two instances) of it and replace it with .com
  • Save the changes and reopen Chrome and it should work.
